Indonesian Foreign Minister Accepts Invitation to Visit Pakistan
ISLAMABAD (10bmnews latest news) Indonesian Foreign Minister Ratno Mursudi has accepted an invitation to visit Pakistan and appreciated Pakistan’s conciliatory efforts for peace in Afghanistan.
According to private TV ARY News, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi and his Indonesian counterpart had a telephone conversation, during which they discussed bilateral relations and other issues, including the promotion of economic and trade cooperation. Expressed satisfaction over political, economic and defense relations.
Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi congratulated him on his successful presidency of the Security Council in August 2020. He also praised the Indonesian government for its efforts for world peace. Indonesian Foreign Minister Ratno Mursudi praised Pakistan’s reconciliation efforts for peace in Afghanistan.
The two Foreign Ministers agreed to further enhance political, economic and trade relations. The two Foreign Ministers also hinted at continuing consultations on important regional and global issues. The Indonesian counterpart accepted the invitation of the Foreign Minister to visit Pakistan.
