Maulana Adil and his driver were shot dead by motorcyclists

Maulana Adil Shah was traveling in a double cabin vehicle in Faisal Colony when the vehicle came under fire. And confirmed the driver’s death. According to police sources, motorcyclists opened fire on a double cabin vehicle in Shah Faisal Colony in Karachi, killing one person and injuring another.Police said that the person injured in the firing was Maulana Dr Adil superintendent of Farooqia University. The driver of his car, Maqsood was killed. As soon as the firing was reported, a heavy contingent of Rangers and police arrived.CCTV footage of the scene is also being obtained. Police found five bullet casings at the scene. Rescuers shifted the injured to Liaquat Hospital. A spokesman for Liaquat Hospital said that Maulana Adil who was injured in the firing also succumbed to his injuries. It has been reported that Maulana Adil has been shot in the neck and abdomen. Maulana Adil had died before reaching the hospital. Maulana Adil is also a central official of the Federation of Arab Schools in Pakistan
