Hamas fires 130 rockets at Tel Aviv

Hamas says it fired 130 rockets at the Israeli city of Tel Aviv on Tuesday in retaliation for an Israeli airstrike that destroyed a 12-story building in Gaza.


The Qasim Brigade Hamas’s armed wing warned that it would retaliate against an attack on a tower near the Gaza coast. The statement said Hamas had fired 130 missiles at Tel Aviv and its suburbs.


Tensions in Jerusalem have been high for days since the attacks on worshipers at Al-Aqsa Mosque, and Israel has also carried out airstrikes on Hamas targets in Gaza.


According to the AFP news agency, Israel has defended the behavior of its troops and insisted that they deal with the violent protesters with appropriate measures.


The Israeli offensive, which began on Monday, continues on Tuesday, with more than 700 Palestinians wounded in clashes with Israeli security forces in Jerusalem and the West Bank in the past 24 hours, with about 500 hospitalized.


The Israeli military says six Israelis were wounded in a rocket attack on Tuesday morning, while the Gaza Ministry of Health said more than 100 Gazans were wounded in the Israeli strikes.


As of Tuesday morning, more than 200 rockets had been fired at Israel by Hamas and other armed groups in Gaza.


According to local media, a man was targeted in an Israeli drone strike in the Khan Younis area of ​​Gaza on Tuesday, while the Gaza Ministry of Health has confirmed the death of a woman in another attack.


According to Hamas, the number of rocket attacks has increased after the attacks on Gaza, while the Israeli army says that dozens of targets were hit in Gaza last night.

In a situation where calls for a reduction in violence have been issued by several countries, Pakistan has proposed to issue a joint statement condemning the Israeli attacks at a meeting of OIC ambassadors.

He also prayed for the recovery of those injured in the tensions and attacks and called on the international community to take immediate steps to ensure the safety of Palestinians.
