According to Arab media, Israel carried out at least 70 airstrikes on Gaza and bombed civilian populations. It is said to be the deadliest airstrike in Gaza since the 2014 bombing.
The targets of this morning’s attacks included several military and security bases in the Palestinian territories. A four-story building in central Gaza was also bombed.
Horrific scenes emerged from the wreckage of several children’s bodies, one girl was rescued 24 hours later. Residential buildings were also attacked the previous day, killing 42 people.
It should be noted that since May 10 tensions between Israel and Palestine have intensified. An estimated 487 people have been injured and thousands displaced so far.
It is noteworthy that the latest clashes between Israeli police and Palestinians in Jerusalem began when Jewish settlers in East Jerusalem tried to evict a few Palestinian families living there.
It may be recalled that a resolution was passed in favor of Palestine and against Israeli atrocities at the meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) yesterday.
An emergency meeting of OIC foreign ministers was convened at the request of Saudi Arabia to review the Israeli attack and the situation in Palestine.
The Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC), which represents 57 Islamic countries, did not call for an economic boycott or any other action but dealt with the Israeli bombing and Brutal attacks on Palestine by adopting traditional resolutions
