Saudi government extends stay and visa period instead of allowing Saudi residency holders stranded abroad to return home


Riyadh – Saudi residency holders Pakistanis will have to wait longer for their return to Saudi Arabia, the Saudi government has extended the duration of residency and visas instead of allowing Saudi residency holders stranded abroad to return to the country. According to the details, the Saudi government has announced significant relief for the migrants who are unable to return to Saudi Arabia due to travel restrictions.

The Saudi Passport Department has further extended the duration of stay, visit and exit re-entry visas of foreigners stranded abroad. It has been informed that this extension will be done till November 30 without any charge under the automated system. Immigrants stranded abroad will not need to take any action themselves.

It is reported that the Saudi government has decided to provide relief to the migrants who are worried about the untimely lifting of many travel bans imposed due to the spread of the Corona epidemic.

It should be noted that due to the ban imposed by Saudi Arabia on the direct entry of citizens from abroad to the country, thousands of Pakistanis who came to Pakistan on holiday are unable to return and join the duty. These Pakistani migrants are in danger of losing their jobs, but the Saudi government is assuring them that all possible relief will be provided to migrant workers who are incapable to get back to the nation because of movement limitations.

It should be noted here that the Saudi government had recently allowed the launch of direct flights from Pakistan to Saudi Arabia, however, only those people can go to Saudi Arabia on these flights after receiving both doses of corona vaccine in the kingdom. Went abroad Saudi holders who have received the corona vaccine in Pakistan have not yet been allowed to return home.
