TOKYO – A young man set fire to a moving train in Japan, injuring 10 people.

According to Japan’s state-run news service NHK, a substance was sprayed on a moving train at 8 pm local time in the capital Tokyo, setting it on fire. The affected train was heading to Shinjuku, the world’s busiest railway station.

A large contingent of police and fire brigade personnel reached the spot after the incident. Videos appearing on social media show passengers being smashed out of train windows and doors. Police have arrested the accused from whose possession a knife was also found. Police say the accused is 20 years old
