32-year-old student falls in love with classmate’s 53-year-old mother, marries despite grandchildren

A 32-year-old student from Shizuoka, Japan, fell in love with his classmate’s 53-year-old mother, after which the two got married.

Recently, the couple was invited to a Japanese talk show, during which 32-year-old Isamu Tomioka said that he first met his wife, 53-year-old Midori, during a parent-teacher meeting during their student days, during which the two did not even know each other.

During the show, Isamu Tomioka said that after the first meeting, he met Midori again 10 years later, after which he fell in love with Midori, but at that time Midori had separated from her husband, but despite this, she rejected Isamu Tomioka’s love.

According to media reports, the very next day, Isamu was able to take Midori to dinner with the support of his daughter. During the dinner, Isamu told Midori that it was love at first sight, to which Midori declined, but despite this, Isamu did not stop contacting Midori and after constant expressions, he finally managed to win Midori’s heart.

Isamu said that even after this, Midori did not agree to the marriage because of her daughter, but Midori’s daughter explained to her that she should not worry about it, just think about her own happiness.

Initially, Isamu’s parents also strongly opposed this relationship, but this opposition soon ended. At the time of her marriage to Isamu, Midori had become the grandmother of 4 children.

Before the wedding, Isamu bought a house worth 38 million yen for Midori and the couple got married in 2023 after receiving the consent of her parents.
