Lahore – A case has been registered against YouTuber Rajab Butt and 7 others on the charge of threatening people on TikTok and coming to the doorstep of the house with a Kalashnikov. Police say that a case has been registered on the complaint of social media artist Umar Fayyaz. According to the FIR, the plaintiff says that Rajab Butt, Man Dogar, Haider Shah and armed men reached his house in the morning and threatened me that they would make me taste the pleasure of coming on TikTok.
On this occasion, Man Dogar abused and threatened him during TikTok Live. According to the plaintiff, the accused have hurt my honor, which is threatening my life. The police say that a case has been registered on the plaintiff’s request and action will be taken as per the law.
It should be noted that last month, the Judicial Magistrate Lahore had sentenced TikToker Rajab Butt to community service for keeping a lion cub.
The court had sentenced TikToker Rajab Butt to community service. Rajab Butt admitted to keeping a lion cub illegally. The Judicial Magistrate’s decision had said that TikToker Rajab Butt will provide community service under the supervision of a probation officer for one year. The court had directed the Wildlife Department to provide all materials on animal protection to Rajab Butt.
TikToker Rajab Butt will discuss animal rights in his 5-minute vlog. The vlog will be uploaded in the first week of every month after the permission of the probation officer. The discussion will be held on the protection and rights of animals in the meeting. The court decision further stated that if the probation officer summons Rajab Butt in person, he will be bound to appear. In case the decision is not implemented, a report will be submitted to the court.
TikToker Rajab Butt admitted in his statement that a lion cub was illegally recovered from him. Realizing the mistake, he will voluntarily provide community service through his social media platform and give a positive message regarding the rights of wild animals. Rajab Butt further said in his statement that he was not aware that wild animals could not be received as gifts. Now he understood that it was inappropriate to keep wild animals in these circumstances.
