Dave Navarro embraced new beginnings after Jane’s Adiction reunion tour turned out to be nothing short of a disaster.
Nearly six months after getting punched by his rock band frontman Perry Farrell onstage and mid-song, the guitarist embarked on a new journey.
Navarro, 57, tied the knot with actress and fashion designer Vanessa DuBasso on Saturday, March 29, at Dunskey Estate in Stranraer, Scotland, as reported by People.

The two exchanged handwritten vows after DuBasso, 31, walked down the aisle, lined with white roses and chandeliers.
For her “dreamy” wedding, the VANTABLACKLAMM founder channeled a Victorian-inspired bridal look by donning a white dress featuring a thigh-high mini dress and a large trail.
Meanwhile, Navarro, who famously performed with the Red Hot Chili Peppers from 1993 to 1998, opted for an all-black attire to reflect the couple’s “contrasting yet complementary spirits.”
“We wanted our wedding to feel like a dream. It was important to us to find a place that felt unlike anywhere we had ever been, a place that embraced nature and transported us to another world,” he described his ideal ceremony.
It is pertinent to note that Navarro wanted an “another world” experience after his Jane’s Addiction’s reunion concert in Boston ended abruptly in September 2024.
What happened with Perry Farrell and Dave Navarro?
In a fan-captured video, Farrell walked towards Navarro during the Ocean Size performance.
The singer rammed his shoulder into the guitarist’s back, which wasn’t enough as a still-angry Farrell continued to yell at the perplexed Navarro.
Farrell ultimately punched his right hook to his longtime bandmate’s shoulder. A crew member joined by two others and bassist Eric Avery held back Farrell, restraining him from delivering another jab and whisked him backstage.
