According to details, after the new westerly winds entered the country, torrential rains and hailstorms started in many areas.

Heavy snowfall is expected in several northern areas in the next few hours. In this situation, the emergency alert issued by the federal government has said that there will be heavy snowfall and winds in Gilgit-Baltistan on Friday night and Saturday, so tourists and other citizens visiting these areas should be careful.

On the other hand, the weather turned cold due to heavy rains and hailstorms in the federal capital Islamabad and several districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

According to the Meteorological Department, the upper areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa include Chitral, Dir, Swat, Malakand, Kohistan, Shangla, Buner, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Haripur, Swabi, Mardan, Nowshera, Peshawar, Charsadda, Bajaur, Karam, Waziristan and There is a possibility of rain with thunder and snow in Kohat. In many districts of Punjab, apart from the wind, there is a possibility of showers with thundershowers
