The government decided to make contacts at all levels to bring Nawaz Sharif back.
According to details, the meeting of the political committee chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan lasted for half an hour in which the Prime Minister took important decisions at the national level of the special political committee.
In the meeting, the political committee decided the strategy regarding Nawaz Sharif while the federal ministers presented their proposals regarding the return of Nawaz Sharif to the Prime Minister.
On this occasion, the Prime Minister gave a briefing to the Political Committee on Nawaz Sharif, on which the Political Committee also decided on the decision to bring Nawaz Sharif back home.
Expressing his views, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that behind Nawaz Sharif are anti-India forces. The nation has to show the real face of Nawaz Sharif
Presiding over the meeting, Imran Khan said that Nawaz Sharif was making a statement of India, the enemies of the army are the enemies of Pakistan.
The Prime Minister directed the party leaders to take an aggressive stance while instructing the federal ministers to be proactive and said that a strategy should be worked out in the meeting to deal with the opposition.
Imran Khan also said that Nawaz Sharif’s only goal now is to weaken Pakistan while all efforts have been made to bring Nawaz Sharif back home and he is also giving important tasks to the federal ministers in this regard.
Prime Minister Imran Khan further said that the entire nation would unite to thwart the Indian conspiracy while the government would defend its institutions.
The meeting of the Political Committee was attended by seven ministers including Federal Minister Shafqat Mehmood, Asad Umar, Fawad Chaudhry, Sheikh Rashid, Babar Awan and Shehzad Akbar.
